As this was my first judging appointment awarding C.C’s, I would like to thank all exhibitors for a wonderful entry, making it an enjoyable & memorable day.

I was pleased with my winners, movement being a deciding factor in my placements.

I hope my opinions were well received!

1. Millers Cornton Roag-Grey brindle puppy just 6 months, moved steadily, in lovely coat & condition.

1. Kippen’s Cheraku Ferryman-Wheaten brindle dog, nice head & expression, correct mouth, well bodied, in lovely jacket, moved with drive.

 

2. Berrecloth’s Sybster Sophora-Dark brindle, nicely balanced, typical expression, correct neck & shoulders, good angulation, moved steadily, just needs more coat.

 

3. Dean’s Orior Sea Rover

1. Robert’s Cannwood Augurey-Cream dog, excellent head nice dark eye, good mouth,in excellent coat, good conformation & well balanced throughout. Moved soundly with drive. One to watch for the future. RCC

 

2. Felter’s & Rumens Landbuck Bright Colours-Dark brindle, masculine head, excellent type with good overall balance. Shown & handled well.

 

3. Mear’s Glenmear Malfoy

1. Confue’s Anjofra Golf Papa Lima-Cream dog, well balanced, nice reach of neck, good muscled quarters in excellent jacket, moved with drive.

 

2. Birch’s Kinkim Kenza Ruffn Too-Red brindle dog, typical expression, good conformation throughout, in lovely coat & condition close decision, could change places another day.

 

3. Hughes’s Spawyche Elizabethan Jet

Three worthy champions whom I’m sure will change places many times.

 

1. Cameron’s-CH Stryveling Ivanhoe-Brindle dog, good masculine head, would prefer a darker eye, good mouth, correct neck & shoulders, level topline & tailset, well muscled quarters throughout, very well presented. DCC

 

2. Wall’s –CH Shearwater Cae De Sonhas- Red brindle dog, excellent head & expression with dark points. Good conformation throughout. Just needing a little more body & jacket to complete the picture today.

 

3. Catto –CH Birselaw Billy Fury.

1. Middlehurst Starveren Chance To Dream-Quality wheaten, very attractive head & expression, excellent mouth, nicely balanced throughout, presented in lovely coat & condition.BP

 

2. Pollock’s Stanedykes Diva-Very alert dark brindle puppy, typical head & expression, well made quarters, very mature for age, moved & presented well. Unlucky to meet 1.

 

3. Felter’s & Rumens-Andrum Lemon Meringue.

1. Firth & Jones Cairngold Coral-Red puppy with good head & lovely expression, very mature for age, nice reach of neck, level topline, good front, moved very well for one so young.

 

2. Harrison & Formosa Carradine Miss Fudge-Another lovely puppy, feminine head & expression, lovely conformation throughout, good coat coming through, showed & moved well.

 

3. Pollock’s Stanedykes Tosca.

1. Templeton’s Larchlea Looks Like Heaven-Dark brindle, gorgeous head & expression, very sound & showy, beautifully balanced, in good harsh coat. A confident showgirl!

 

2. Hughes’s Spawyche Dawn Chorus At Gyncairn- Wheaten bitch, good head & expression, well bodied, nicely balanced throughout, well presented.

 

3. Confue’s Anjofra Nutty Tart.

1. Miller’s Cornton Ruadh-Red bitch, pleasing head & expression nicely balanced in good jacket, moved well once settled.

 

2. Dowling Black Rod Holly Orchid-Dark brindle bitch, good head & expression, well bodied, moved steadily.

1. Firth & Jones Cairngold Charcoal-Top quality dark brindle bitch, with beautiful head & expression, lovely conformation throughout, presented in excellent coat & condition, moved & showed as a cairn should, covered the ground well, I was delighted to award her CC & BOB

 

2. Catto Birselaw Love Me Do-Another beautiful bitch from this well known kennel, nicely balanced, well muscled quarters throughout, showed, handled & presented very well.

1. Shaw’s Honeyhall Headway-Quality wheaten brindle bitch, excellent head & expression, good mouth nicely balanced, good made quarters, good topline & tailset which she kept on the move, presented & handled very well. RCC

 

2. Mundy’s Stradivarius Sonata-Another nice bitch, nice reach of neck, level topline, good front, good length of leg in lovely coat, just needs to carry a little less weight.

 

3. Dolan’s Glenrood Magic Berry.

Three quality bitches!

 

1. Formosa Spawyche Elizabethan Topaz-Dark brindle, lovely outline, well balanced, nice reach of neck, good muscled quarters, moved soundly with plenty of drive.

 

2. Dolan Rossarden Glen Moira-Dark brindle attractive bitch, typical head & expression, correct neck & shoulders, good front, good conformation, presented & handled very well.

 

3. Sarachelle Just Daisy At Jaeva.
